I'm a small town girl with a heart bigger than my home state of Texas. I have recently been accepted to St. Mary's Law School in San Antonio for the 2008 school year. Currently, I am a Texas State alumna (cum laude) and work full time for Bluegreen Corporation. I consider myself to be a very determined and goal oriented young woman who will stop at nothing to reach her highest dreams. I am a founding member of the student chapter, UNICEF at Texas State University; in conjunction I headed the offices of Treasurer and Marketing for my junior and senior years. The establishment of this organization resulted from my profound compassion for the many individuals of this world who have innocently fell to the hands of immorality. Given the reality of this world, I believe knowledge is the only way to truly overcome the obstacles that lie in the way of ending all inhumane atrocities. To be victorious in this war against human dignity, the light of knowledge must shine upon every individual, from the suppressed to the suppressors, and most importantly, the bystanders. For the sake of all that is good, we must win this war.
